Licensed Professional CounselorMALPC

I bring a unique blend of empathy, evidence based strategies and real world insight into the lives of those with difficulties navigating depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation and life's transitions...meeting clients where they are and helping them to connect or reconnect with their inner strengths through integration of techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and trauma informed care tailoring to individual needs and goals, guiding towards emotional resilience and self-awareness, needed to move forward with clarity, confidence and insight which emulates 2020 vision. I offer space for transformation.

Communication is key to establishing trust, promoting respect, safety and acceptance. Validation is important as well to give clients a safe place to share and eventually explore unhealthy and unhelpful patterns in behavior and thought.

As a young child I felt a natural connection to the elderly and small children, the stories, the innocence, the helplessness. As an educator, celebrating milestones in the lives of students and parents was very rewarding. So, I not only bring credentials, but real-world empathy through a trauma informed lens, shaped by experience, centered around you.
